COVID-19 Update

We hope this finds you, your bubble and your double bubble well in these uncertain times. We are connecting with you to share how COVID-19 is affecting our businesses and how we are planning to navigate through the challenges. As always we thank you for your support.

As you are most likely aware, the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, on the instructions of our Chief Medical Officer, has outside tourism visitation blocked at this time. Staycations for Newfoundland residents will be allowed around the island, so there is hope to salvage some summer and fall business until restrictions are lifted at the border. Flights have also been cut back until at least early July. We can appreciate the reasons for these restrictions at this time. COVID-19 is a definite concern for our communities, and without a vaccine created yet, a cautious approach is understandable. I am sure your province, state, district, country are facing many of the same challenges and concerns about how to proceed safely.

We will be reaching out to our guests with bookings to offer updates we receive from the province. As we learn more about supports, restrictions being lifted, etc we will send updates as to our plans for opening and what services we will have in place, etc. Please reach out to us anytime at

To everyone who has supported us, our sincere thanks. We hope that you will play your part in helping to support the Newfoundland and Labrador hospitality sector, and Woody Point specifically, and support local! Woody Point Magic awaits you! We look forward to welcoming you to Woody Point and to our Bonne Bay Inn & Seaside Suites, Seaside Deli & Blue Ocean Dining Room when it is safe for you to travel, and safe for us to host you!

Stay Safe!
